The office productivity day was held at the main Hall on 08.02.2019. Special events were held on the ocation. Drama presentations, selecting the best officer in the office, selecting the best Grama Niladari office, making special evaluations and selecting the best office circle. All Officers, Grama Niladhari, Economic Development Officers and Samurdhi Officers participated in the occasion with the participation of Divisional Secretary.

This program demonstrating the "Kamatha" activities associated with the rural agricultural lifestyle is carried out by Udathammitha Grama Niladhari H.M.P.B. Herath on 05.02.2019 at the premises of Community hall. A large number of schoolchildren and villagers in the area participated in the event and all the activities of ancient lifestyles were shown in dramatically.

In order to enhance the cordiality and good physical health, the Divisional secretariat organized a cricket tournament on 04.01.2019 by organizing all the state institutions in the division. The main sponsorship was given by the Pradeshiya Sabha and 8 teams competed. First place was won by the Abhimansala and second place was obtained by the Pangolla army camp.

Awareness program for the expansion of "SENA" Caterpillar for Agricultural Research Production Assistant, Grama Niladharis and Samurdhi Officers in the division was held on 25.01.2010 at the office of Chief Divisional Secretary.

Assistant Director of Agriculture, Regional Assistant Office, Department of Agriculture, Mr. Samaraweera, Chief Agronomist (larvae) of the Bathalagoda Rice Research and Development Institute Mrs. D.G.S. N. Chandrasena, Chief Agriculture Consultant (Fruit & Crop) Mrs. Emani Gammanpila from Agricultural Department of Gannoruwa participated on the occasion.

The officers of the zone briefly explained about the expansion of "SENA" Caterpillar and officials of the zone were briefed to make aware the farmers to inform them of the matter immediately.

A special children's program was organized in parallel to the World Children's day on 2018/10/02. A training group conducted a dramatic advisory program for children's entertainment
